This past Sunday I was baptized at Oakmont Baptist Church here in Greenville. I joined the church a couple of months ago and this experience was something that words can not explain. So rather than explaining how I felt, I thought that I would just share the scripture my pastor read to me while I was in the water waiting to be "dunked"
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Congratulations! I love the verse--a beautiful reminder of God's grace and dying to our old self and weaknesses to be made perfect in Him.
